1. An upline distributor who has much to gain, files false allegations against the downline member. The accused is summarily terminated and instantly 'cut off' from their account and their network. The upline member inherites their network along with all the commissions, revenue and bonus checks.
2. Due to financial struggles, the network marketing company decides to take drastic action and must make some serious "cut backs". The first to go are the distributors who are earning the highest monthly commissions. Just like that!
